Dream List: Princess Mini Dolls I Would Love

The only requirement for this list is that the princesses present have not been made, printed in the outfit they are shown in, they may already be out there just not in a certain outfit. I am not considering any pictures on the internet of Mini Dolls alleged to be those of 2019 release dolls legitimate until pictures depicting those same dolls are posted by Lego or major Lego retailers.

Princess Tiana - Princess and the Frog - Wedding Dress

This could be such a good Mini Doll! The dress design could be done using the full skirt as seen in 10762 - Belle's Story Time and the hair piece using the shape and style of the Ice Queen CMF hair piece but in the appropriate green. We don't yet have a Lego Tiana so this would be a first!

Princess Ariel - Blue Sight-Seeing Dress

This dress is my favourite outfit Ariel wears in the first little mermaid movie and is the only one other than her wedding dress that Lego haven't made into a Mini Doll.

Mulan - Matchmaker Dress

The only Mulan figure we have so far is reminiscent of her other dress - I have always liked this pink iteration that she wears when she goes to the match maker just that little bit more.I think for such a powerful Disney Character it would be nice to have variety.

Cinderella - Live Action, House Dress

I have made no secret of the fact that this is my favourite Cinderella movie of all time. I would love to see this version of her dress in mini doll form. It may require a new mold for the hips and legs as the dress is 3/4 length and that is what separates it from the other Cinderella dresses.

Princess Aurora - Blue Dress

So far we have had two Princess Aurora Mini Dolls in the dress above - but in the pink and not in the blue. While the most recent set: 41152 - Sleeping Beauty's Fairytale Castle did include a sticker that alluded to the colour change of the dress that takes place in the movie that went on a post in the set, having a blue version of the dress would be a welcome change.

Pocahontas - Pocahontas

We haven't yet had a Pocahontas Mini Doll in any form. We have had her raccoon in a cute blue print, but no actual Pocahontus. There is an existing Mini Doll skirt mold with a fringed style that has been used in the Elves and Friends series from time to time, that could perfectly illustrate her skirt, while the top can be printed nicely.

Princess Shuri - The Black Panther

Princess Shuri is technically a Disney princess because Marvel films are Disney Films, and as the younger sister of King T'Challa she is second in line. She has, I understand, been made into a mini figure - but not a mini doll - this could better illustrate some of the beautiful design work that went into the princess - played by actress Leticia Wright - and her outfits.

Mini Figure of the Month: Little Red Riding Hood

December's Mini Figure is:

Little Red Riding Hood!
With her floating little skirt and beautiful cape, she is the cutest! This little lady comes from 21315: Pop-Up Book.

Oh My Brick: Lego Juniors Are No More?

So pictures started tickling through since a few weeks and I have noticed something that I actually mentioned here.
These boxes are for two sets being released January 2019 for Lego Friends. They contain simple builds and in the bottom left corner there is a red bubble with '+4' written in it. Now, normally Lego sets aimed at getting younger children into Lego with simpler builds, often billed as the step after Duplo, are in a red box under the Junior's line. I think this means Lego Junior sets will no longer be in red boxes but boxed in the colour scheme of their concept theme with small hints to the previous brand.

Wizard Wednesday: Hogwarts Classes You Can Make

At the time of writing this, there are two sets that make up a 'Mini Figure' scale Hogwarts:
75953: Hogwarts Wamping Willow
75954: Hogwarts Great Hall

I have noticed, that on the lower level of the Wamping Willow set there are three rooms, all of which have vaguely potions-related furniture and decorations (One is actually Snape's office). Meanwhile the Great Hall set has two spaces one of which is potions related and the other a store room. Here I am listing classes at Hogwarts and how they can be made in Lego for anyone that wants to refit their Castle with a variety of classes.

Muggle Studies - Proffessor Quirrell

In Harry Potter's first year, he was the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor. We know that in the year or years before he was travelling around, which resulted in the whole Voldemort-in-the-back-of-his-head debacle. But before then, did you know he was the muggle studies professor? If you want to bend time a little you can revert him back to his role as muggle studies professor.
The classroom can be made up with chairs for students and a desk or podium for Quirrell, with 'muggle' artifacts dotted around the classroom for good measure. Perhaps, a roller skate to represent a model car. If I remember correctly, electronic items don't work in Hogwarts, so a phone or a tablet might not be a practical display item. In the book they never mention using pens, just quills, so maybe one of those?

Divination - Professor Trelawney

Professor Trelawney is a wonderful mini figure available in this year's Wizarding World collectable Mini Figure Series. Her class is a little to different from the muggle studies in that it might be best served in the rounded rooms of the Great Hall set.

Chairs for students could be placed around the classroom leaving space in the centre for Trelawney, a 2x2 brick atop which sits a crystal ball like the one above (I actually have one embedded with glitter!) if anyone who has this set also has some of the now-defunct Belville sets, specifically 5823: The Good Fairy's Bedroom, those beautiful flower print draws in the blue cupboard strike me as being very 'Trelawney' and could go in the back. Other items you could include would be a tea pot so she can read those all-important tea leaves!

Defence Against the Dark Arts - Professor Lupin

This is based off of his year as the DAtDAs teacher - if we're going to have Quirrell as the muggle studies professor then a little bit of time-turning creativity won't hurt in bringing Remus Lupin to life as the professor of this subject.
His class room can be made with a training doll like that in 41151: Mulan's Training Day (pictured above) which students can practice spells against while Lupin guides them through the process. The famous boggart scene can also be the item that makes up the class room - pictured above is the rather prettily coloured version that comes in 40307: Castle Interior Kit from the 2018 Disney Princess range. You could either use this exact one if you have it or using the design something similar but more Hogwarts appropriate in colour.

Transfiguration - Professor McGonagall

This Mini Figure comes with the Great Hall set - so why not use it? Seeing as transfiguration is changing objects from one thing to another, why not recreate that second year class in which students had to change animals into goblets? (I must admit - I would love a goblet with a scabbers-tail-print on it!)
