When I started collecting Lego as an adult, this is the theme that I was first enamoured with. Probably because, it was the theme I was missing when I was six. Back then I had two female minifigure/ Lego Characters.
Hermione, from an early Harry Potter set (Diagone Alley Shops - 4723), and a Millimy figurine that was quite restrictive because I could not pose her, she could only stand up arms outstreached from a Belville set (the female figurine from that set was far too big to play with Hermione and the rosey Millimy.)
I enjoy and enjoyed this theme because it is what I would have wanted years ago and it is what I want now. It's light and sweet theme allows me to dream away hours building up a town in sweet tones of pink, purple and pale blue.
The cute outfits especially those popstar ones from 2015 are AMAZING! At some point I will have to do a list on my favourite ones from all sets to date.
I love the variety of sets they have released since the sets premier in late 2011/early 2012. The ones that come to mine are Andrea's Mountain Hut (41031) and the Heartlake Cupcake Cafe (41119).

When I need a break from Pink, purple, pink, blue and more pink that tends to dominate the early pre-reboot friends sets, the Creator 3-in-1 sets really come though for me. They add a splash of colour in a different way to my town that maybe I would not be so adventurous to think up myself. not to mention the builds really are quite charming: 31063 Beachside Vacation springs to mind as a really good example.
The range offers, as the same suggests a main build and two alternate builds, each making intresting and creative use of the set's pieces. Something I have found true of all sets I have so far gotten from this theme.

Not only does this theme appeal to the younger me still alive in my soul - but it allows me and probably a lot of other people to keep a piece of the Disney magic I see in movies for myself. I have the War Hero and saviour of China, Mulan.
I can ride the magic Carpet with Jasmine and Rajah. Or recreate that beautiful scene towards the end of the 2015 Live action Cinderella in which she reveals her self unintentionally to the King and Grand Duke by singing the old nursery rhyme "Lavender Blue".
Not to mention the sets they come with - even when it is difficult to connect the builds in the sets to scenes in their appropriate franchises they are still beautiful and befitting of their characters.

The Lego rendition of the Wizarding World like the Disney theme appeals to me because of the way it lets you convey the magic of the movies (and the books, of course). From the charming collectable Minifigure set that for the first time in years allowed me to get my hands on a Hermione (this time, mercifully, not in bright yellow) and this time complete with a detailed wand, and crookshanks! while the earlier sets from the first movie that I had owned many years ago were precious and entertaining then, the bright orange tones now seem outdated and inappropriate for the Wizarding World.
It has now been brought vivdly to life (absent of that orange colour scheme) in sets that capture and retell the magic of Hogwarts and the wider wizarding world.
Just looking at it I can practically hear that tinkling theme that accompanies the start of every movie (Titled Hedwig's theme, if you're wondering.). There are apparently more sets due to be released in 2019 (the next instalment of Fantastic Beasts called Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindlewald will be in cinemas in the UK end of November 2018 - I can't wait!!) and I look forward to seeing them (I can't help but notice when you connect the two sets that currently exist of Mini figure scale Hogwarts castle, there are still connecting pins left over...)
(PS did you like my Fantastic Beasts pun?)
