This week for Wizard Wednesday I present the best of the collectable Mini Figures Wizarding World Series. As always, this list is subjective. But these Mini Figures are here because I think they are neat.
Newt Scamander
So Newt of the new-ish Fantastic Beasts franchise is AMAZING. First of, his character is endearing and adorable, his awkwardness is very relatable. Another lovable feature of this Mini Figure is the Niffler! I just want to fill my whole Lego town with Nifflers they are so, so cute! Not to mention the fact that newt is sporting the new briefcase utensil and a cute little Pickett print on his lapel.
Sybil Trelawney
Whats not to love? The quirkiness of everyone's favourite Divination professor is captured brilliantly in this Mini Figure complete with that beautiful new skirt mold and the tea cup! The printed design on the saucer really is a nice touch that proved Lego wants to go that little bit further to bring the magic of the harry potter world to Lego form.
Dean Thomas
With his cute little scarf and house-pride evident in his little Gryffindor flag he is a must have. If you have 75953: Hogwarts Wamping Willow and 75954: Hogwarts Great Hall he is an excellant addition.
Luna Lovegood
Who doesn't love Luna? This charming Mini Figure comes with an exquisite B Print allowing Luna to roam the realms of Lego with those little printed glasses to look for Nargles. If she gets bored, she comes with a copy of the Quibbler for her to read away the hours. The eccentricity and loveliness of Luna is captured perfectly.
Neville Longbottom
Everyones favourite geeky and shy Gryffindor is on the list! His cute outfit reflecting his love of his herbology, you best hope his mufflers are on tight because we don't want him fainting when he pulls the mandrake out of the pot!
Harry Potter
This wouldn't be a list about Harry Potter Lego without the boy wizard himself! Harry is neatly represented here in his little striped pyjamas from the first movie's Christmas scene and his invisibility cloak. I think Lego has done a really good job in making the impossible happen - how do you make a piece you're not meant to see? With the beautiful pattern similar to the one the first movie shows the cloak to have when it is not worn, and a holographic pattern that would make Youtube's simplynailogical pleased, this entry is a delight.
